Can You Handle The Truth?

For the last few months, everyone I knew has been putting the link about what really inside the junk food that we were love to have: McDonald. Now here is the thing, am a junk food lover. I eat almost everything that people said unhealthy. For me, the unhealthier a food could be the better it tasted. So yeah, somebody please shoot me but I am that bad.
So, when someone suggested me to check on that link (www.mcdstruthvideo.com) I was like, yeah right. Call me a freak, but of course I knew that everything in those foods is bad. The point was, do I care? I mean, this is my body and am the only one who is dealing with it, so why bother. I knew it was bad since long-long time before, but I chose to ignore it because I don’t really give a damn. The thing is, even good foods doesn’t always give you good effect. You need those baddies once in a while just to make your body learn how to deal with them. As long as you know the limit, then go for it; leave the rest to your antibodies. I mean, am not eating those junk food everyday like frequently, NO. But of course I eat them and to be honest with you, I don’t want to change this habit. I love junk food and I can not lie. Hah!
80% of people said they will seriously NEVER eat McDonalds again after seeing the link, the report says. Ho-ho-ho am not going to join those people. Thanks, but no thanks. For me is, it doesn’t matter what’s in the food I ate, as long as it tastes great and can fulfill my needs then am cool with it. Because, do you seriously believe that everything that we eat, including those that we have in a fancy restaurant that cost us a fortune, is actually healthy? Come on! And seriously, if we think of these all the time, don’t you think that it’s going to make our life miserable? Besides, this thing was not a new issue anymore. It happens all the time. Correct me if am wrong, but it happened to Colonel Sanders’ KFC before and now it’s McD’s turn.
I know, I know…am not giving anyone a good example here, but my point isn’t about the food. It’s more about the phenomena that people tried to encourage others. Seriously, do you think that all of those people, who eat junk food, McD in particular, didn’t know about the bad things inside those foods? I don’t think so. Of course they knew, or at least they have their assumptions alright, but thing is, they chose to ignore it because they like them! End of story. And those propaganda that everyone shares at the moment won’t change anything. For a while maybe, until those image faded from their mind and thing will be back to normal. Trust me. And as for me, I chose not to open that link above because for me it was one h*ll way of wasting time. Sorry guys, am a freak what can I say? Now Ronnie, where are my free vouchers? Ha ha..

Don't Tell Your Girlfriend (A Poem)

Don’t tell your girlfriend that I kissed you
It wouldn’t happened if you didn’t kiss me first
Don’t tell your girlfriend that I was there
I wouldn’t be if you didn’t beg me to
Don’t tell your girlfriend that I was in your arms
It wouldn’t happened if you just let me go
Don’t tell your girlfriend that I text you
'Cause I was only replying yours
Don’t tell your girlfriend about my naughty stories
I was only doing what you asked me to
Don’t tell your girlfriend what we did last night
We were only having fun and it was already done
Don’t tell your girlfriend that I spent the night
It wouldn’t happened if you didn’t hide my car keys
Don’t tell your girlfriend that it wasn’t deliberately
We both knew she wasn’t that naïve anyway
Don't tell your girlfriend what I've done to you
'Cause I won't tell my boyfriend either
And don’t tell your girlfriend that I said I love you too
'Cause I was only repeating what you said before

^_^

Am bored and this things came out in my head…nothing serious, and definitely not about certain people!! Enjoy guys…

10 Things I Hate About You - Part. 6 (A Poem)

I hate the way you say my name
With that cynical smile that suited you face perfectly
I hate when you make fun of the way I talk
Never knew that I was that bad
I hate when you checking on my Berry
Hey, I have a right to keep skeletons in my closet, don't I?
I hate when you ask so many questions
It's not that easy to create a story without notice, don't you know?
I hate the way you apologize
How do I say no when you're looking like that?
I hate that you were not a cat person
Does that mean that I can not have you in my house?
I hate the way you call me a drama queen
Even though you admitted that's why you love me at first place
I hate the way you call me a princess
That bitterness that leaves me hopeless
I hate the way you waste your time on the beach
'Cause I never found it fascinating
But the most important thing is, I hate when I have to handed you over
What can I do when reality doesn't go our way?

Good Things Happen To Those Who...

Alright, I have to admit that am bored. Today is Sunday and I don't have nothing to do yet I was too lazy to go out because of this fasting thingy. So what else could I do apart from write? Then yeah, I have a question for you, if you have to complete the words on the title of this blog, how would they sound like? 'Good Things Happen To Those Who...'
Here is the thing, a friend of mine, not a close friend but yeah..I knew her for quite sometime now, told me that she was getting married in a few months time. Of course, this was a great news, if only she hadn't broke up with her boyfriend recently and still cried over it like a couple weeks ago. So yeah, I was like, with who? I didn't even know that she was seeing someone hence the confusion in my head. But as a friend, I have to be happy for her and show her my support, that's my job, right? Even though am not sure about it? She told me that she met the guy just over a week ago through a mutual friend and felt the connection then decided to go on with the married idea. Wow! That's the bravest thing for a girl to do, I have to admit. But as long as she's happy and knew what she was doing, I have nothing else to say.
Then of course, when this morning another friend told me about the wedding cancellation while the preparation was already 80% done, in fact I've just seen the pre-wed photos a couple of days ago, I was in shocked literally. First, of course I feel sorry for my friend. Because, unlike me, she was a type a girl who dedicated her life in searching for a husband. Yeah, she was that kind of a girl who enjoy being marriage so much hence her obsession on getting a man after her previous marriage crumbled was beyond.
But then again, am not going to discuss about that here, instead let's go back to the question I asked above. Obviously, this was a bad thing to be happened to a girl like my friend. I mean, she's a pretty girl, nice, and has a success business. Then what went wrong? A dear friend said that she was rushing it when she made the decision. So, does that mean 'Good things happen to those who wait'?
Here's another thing, when it comes to thing like this, sometime we just do what our feeling told us without any common sense involved. Besides, there's no guarantee that even if we wait, good things will definitely happen. In this case, it might not going to. Oh yeah, when it comes to love issue, it's a jungle out there! So you have to be quick and fast! A wise friend then said, 'Good things happen to those who wait, but they merely leftovers from those who act.' Thanks God I've found mine already so am not into the battle anymore. Hah!
Then another thing happened, a friend just broke his engagement up over the girl's jealousy that drove him mad. Well, as a girl I can see where this coming from. I mean, for girls the look was almost everything. Many times I found my male friends close their eyes over their girlfriends attitude when they look that good. So when your man surrounded by girls like that, you were entitle to be intimidated. But as someone who think like a guy, I can totally understand my friend too. Jealousy suck. I don't get jealous over thing like that, at least I won't bother showing it. I don't normally feel intimidated over anyone. But yeah, this drama made me kind of think, do good things happen to those who look good? I know, am a shallow person, someone said that before and am not going to hide the truth.

This blog written on Sunday, August 22nd 2010 and the story was about no one..so even though the scenes sound familiar, trust me..it wasn't about you..at all!!

My Love Does Cost A Thing!

I know, even Jennifer Lopez tried to convinced everybody that her love doesn't cost anything, but, was that the truth? A few years ago, a guy who tried to approached me back then asked whether I was a materialistic type of person or not. My answer at that time was, "Depends. Depends on how do you define the word materialistic." I mean, of course, as a girl, I would prefer to be taken care of rather than not. Seriously, if there are two different guys came forward to approach you, one is super cute but yet super broke while the other one is not so much on the looks department but super rich, which one do you fancy? Come on, you have got to give me an honest answer here, and yeah..this question was strictly for girls only. Oh how I love the idea of girls are weak creatures who need to be taken care of. And that actually leave me one question, am I a materialistic type of person or am I just simply a girl who enjoy every aspect of being a girl? Aha!

Booth Vs. DiNozzo

For those who love TV probably knew exactly what am talking about in this blog. Yup, it is about two TV series that caught many attentions lately, Bones and NCIS. Both are two different characters yet have this sort of similar personality. But first let me educate you guys who have no idea whatsoever about the series, those who have a busy and hectic life, hence their lack of knowledge about what is going on in the television's larger than life world. So, here is the thing, Booth is the character from TV series Bones. Bones is an American crime drama television series that premiered on the Fox Network on September 13, 2005. The show is based on forensic anthropology, with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) to the forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel). The rest of the cast includes Michaela Conlin, T. J. Thyne, Eric Millegan, Tamara Taylor and John Francis Daley.
Created by Hart Hanson, the series is very loosely based on the life of forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, who also produces the show. Its title character, Temperance Brennan, is named after the protagonist of Reichs' crime novel series.
The show begins in the year 2005, and tells the story of a series of case files, solved weekly, by the unlikely alliance of Temperance "Bones" Brennan's forensic anthropology team at the Jeffersonian Institute (a thinly veiled allusion to the Smithsonian Institution) and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth. By examining the human remains of the murder victims, Dr. Brennan and her team provide scientific expertise and an outsider's perspective to the world of criminal investigation to the FBI. In addition to the murder cases featured in each episode, the series explores the backgrounds and relationships of the major characters including the developing friendship and possibly romantic relationship between Brennan and Booth. The series has dark comedic undertones.
Alright, that was our first excitement for today. Now let's talk about NCIS, also known as NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, is an American police procedural drama television series revolving around a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which conducts criminal investigations involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
NCIS follows a fictional team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team (MCRT) special agents headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. It is described by the actors and producers (on special features on DVD releases in the United States) as being distinguished by its comic elements, ensemble acting and character-driven plots.
NCIS is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy, which includes the United States Marine Corps. NCIS investigates all major criminal offenses (felonies)—crimes punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice by confinement of more than one year—within the Department of the Navy. The MCRT is frequently assigned to high profile cases such as the death of the U.S. president's military aide, a bomb situation on a U.S. Navy warship, the death of a celebrity on a reality show set on a USMC base, terrorist threats, and kidnapping.
The MCRT is led by Supervisory Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). Gibbs’s team is composed of Special Agent and Senior Field Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Probationary Special Agent (formerly Mossad liaison officer) Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), who replaced Caitlin "Kate" Todd (Sasha Alexander) when she was shot by Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) at the end of season two. Ari was then killed by his half-sister Ziva at the beginning of season three. The team is assisted in their investigations by Chief Medical Examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), Medical Assistant Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), and Forensic Specialist Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (Pauley Perrette).
It has been revealed through flashbacks that the 'original' head of the MCRT was Special Agent Mike Franks, who led the unit when it was part of NIS. He recruited Gibbs shortly after Gibbs' retirement from the Marine Corps, eventually retiring himself some years later. After Franks' departure, Gibbs recruited DiNozzo from the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Section. The two were briefly joined by Vivian Blackadder, whom Gibbs recruited from the FBI. In the second part of the NCIS pilot, Blackadder allowed her emotions to nearly derail an anti-terror operation in Spain. Gibbs is noticeably disappointed, Blackadder is not present in the series' first regular episode. McGee first appears as a Field Agent assigned to the Norfolk Field Office. He uses his computer skills to aid the MCRT in subsequent investigations through the rest of the first season, until he is officially promoted with his own desk at the Navy Yard in the beginning of the second season.
NCIS is currently led by Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll). The first director seen in the series, Thomas Morrow (Alan Dale), left after being promoted to Deputy Director of DHS. Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) was appointed director after Morrow; she was killed in a shootout at the end of the fifth season, thus making Vance the director of the whole organisation. Ohoo..I can see that you guys are started to get into it now. I mean, seriously..the plot was very complicated, interesting, and far from boring.
Now, how do these two TV series connected to each other? They don't. But, their two different characters Booth and DiNozzo, for me, have this sort of similar charm. I mean, Booth is a special agent who has a great look and a little bit too confident with himself and so does DiNozzo. Both guys are constantly insist that girls are somehow really into them. But they both have different senses of humor though. Booth is a little bit more serious here as he was kind of closed type of guy. We don't often seeing him make fool of himself as DiNozzo does. Yeah, unlike Booth, Tony DiNozzo is a kind of guy who was always try hard, too hard sometime, to impress people hence his stupidity that makes him looking like a fool. Therefore, we will see the scene where his boss Gibbs slap him at the back of his head just to bring him back to reality quite often. And seriously, I do enjoy these scenes very much. Classics, hah!
One more thing actually caught my attention on this thing, it was how perfect the casts are. I mean, it looks like they were born to play the parts. They don't like acting at all. Boreanaz is Booth and Weatherly is DiNozzo. I know, most of Hollywood movies normally don't look for actors to play the parts anyway. More like they are looking for actors who are fit for the parts. Therefore, unlike British movies where the actors were actually acting, American movies do not have that kind of thing. Well, that was according to me, of course. So, back to our topic, the biggest things on telly at the moment (for me) was the similarity between two actors from two different programs but have the same exact charm. The charm that made me madly in love with them. Well, actually I was more like into Booth as I was obssessed to Boreanaz since he was played Angel in Buffy The Vampire Slayer plus there was a fact that I was actually dated someone who looks like him at certain angle, BUT, I can not ignore the fact that Emily Deschanel who plays Bones has this slightly annoying face that was always bother me whenever I watch the program. Hey, I did remind you guys that am a racist and I judge people by his or her look, didn't I? Besides, the fact that he was unfaithful to his wife proved nothing than that he knew exactly what kind of charm that he got and used it wisely, ha ha!

The Chronicle Of Fasting Month

Yesterday was the first day of holy month Ramadhan. Every Muslim around the globe has to do this thing called fast where you were not allowed to eat, drink, and doing such things related with passion start from sunrise and finish at sunset. Actually, it wasn't as bad as it looks if you think of it, specially if you doing it for years now so your bodies were kind of adjusted themselves, but of course, first couple of days were always the toughest ones.
The other night before went to bed, I prayed a bit longer than usual and asked God to help me with the process of adjusting myself with this fasting thingy. Yeah, I was always do such things as I do rely everything in life on prays. Every single thing. So yesterday morning, while having my early breakfast at 3.30 AM (man, can you believe it?) I forced myself to eat a bit, and oh..you don't know how hard it was. I mean, to have something to eat while your eyes barely open? Tough. Specially if you do it alone like me as I was the only one who fast in my house, so yeah..the only company I've got were my lovely twins Cheech and Chong. Thanks God for them. So yeah, yesterday went quite well as I didn't even realize that I was actually fasting until late in the afternoon when I was so thirsty and just about to grabbed a glass of water then realised that I wasn't allowed drink any. Sigh! But overall, apart from being a bit dizzy and weak, first day was alright for me.
So here I am on my second day of fast. Big problem was that I overslept last night and almost missed my early breakfast, woke up only to found out that I only got time to drink water, that's it. Quickly grabbed my big mug and filled it with water, said my pray, then drank it. Gosh, I didn't even have time to get any biscuit or cracker in the fridge, poor me. Since nothing else could I do, so I went back to sleep as it was still pretty much early in the morning, but couldn't get a good night sleep at all. I think my body started to confused itself about this mess up time arranging for food and sleep. Oh no, I just realised that my last heavy food was at 8.30 PM last night, so that means that today I have to survive only a little bit less than 24 hours without food. OMG, hope my fragile little body can handle that. Well, to be honest with you, actually food doesn't really bother me, but water? Man, that's really crucial for me and most of other people. Specially for those who live in tropical island such as Bali with a high level of humidity, really is a torture.
I know, many of you who were taking things like these very serious would say that am not supposed to complain about it as we were supposed to feel what the needy people deal with everyday. Well then, my question was, don't they, the needy people, complain sometime? I mean, when you were hungry or thirsty and said it out loud, does that mean that you were complaining? Hmm..I don't think so. Or maybe we all just simply need an adjustment on how we define the word 'complain'. Hah!

Marhaban Yaa Ramadhan (Welcome Hey Ramadhan)

Ramadhan or, as everyone familiar with, fasting month is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and sexual activities from dawn until sunset. Fasting is meant to teach the Muslim patience, modesty and spirituality. Ramadhan is a time for Muslims to fast for the sake of God (Arabic: الله‎, trans: Allah) and to offer more prayer than usual. During Ramadhan, Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds. As compared to the solar calendar, the dates of Ramadhan vary, moving backwards about ten days each year depending on the moon. Ramadhan was the month in which the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
As one of those Muslims, I was familiar with this spiritual tradition since I was seven as on that age I started to fast myself and never stop ever since. Oh well, kind of. To be honest with you, actually I did miss my fasting thingy once for the first time when I moved out from my parents house and felt like I had to take this opportunity to enjoy my freedom, but guess what? It didn't work for me. I was crying my head off on Idul Fitri when asked God for forgiveness. Yeah, felt terrible! Funny thing about Ramadhan for me was how I bond with this tradition tightly. I mean, am not going to lie to you by telling that am a good Muslim, because I am definitely not. I do pray but not as many as I should be. Five time a day was a bit too much for me, I have to admit it. But when it comes to fasting, I was always seriously in to it for a reason that only God knows. So yeah, this year's Ramadhan was no different and I am excited and can not wait for the month to come. And oh yeah, one more thing am excited about on Ramadhan is the food. As some of you guys probably knew already that I have this thing called sweet tooth, hence my desire for everything sweet was beyond believe, and part of Ramadhan tradition was how we were always brake our fasting with something sweet to balance our sugar level from fasting. When I was a kid, my mom was always provided us with so many sweet food during fasting month and by far I love this thing. Why? Because on normal day, we were never allowed to eat anything sweet before dinner but not during fasting month, my friend! Woo hoo!!
^_^

To all of my Muslim friends, happy Ramadhan..let's get ourselves forgiveness during this holy month..go fasting, you guys!!

To Whom It May Concern (An Open Letter To My Followers And Readers)

Dear friends,
As you guys knew already, writing is my passion. I can write about almost everything. Part of that, I was more than thrill to hear what do you guys think of my writes, BUT, am not a super genius girl who can speak so many languages. Therefore, when you guys commented my writes in languages part from Bahasa, English, and or French, I couldn't understand it at all. True, I could've used one of those online translator to translate them but that was a bit too much for me, don't you think so? So yeah, for those who want to leave comments on my blog, you are more than welcome, IF ONLY you could write them in either Bahasa, or in English, ou en Français then I would love to answer them all. And oh yeah, I would like to use this opportunity as well to show all of you guys, my followers or just my readers, how grateful I am that you guys spare some of your precious time to read my blog while they were actually only things in my head that need to let out. Thanks guys..you rock!!
