My Salad and I (My Vegan Life Diary)

You are who you hang out with.
I used to believe that am a meat eater and a junk food addict. I skeptically made fun of Vegetarian and Yoga people. And I blame my ex for that. Yeah, my was always skeptical about Yoga people. He said that it was wasting of time and since I was a loyal girlfriend, I followed. I mean, true that am a fanatic Sumatran girl who used to ate meat like no others, but still, he was the one who influence me the most. I used to adore him and thought that whatever he said was right. So yeah, blame no one but him for my so called unhealthy life style.
Then last month I have got an offer to managing a Raw Vegan Cafe in Bali and I took it in an extremist way. I went vegan and signed up for a Yoga class. Okay, so that is me. When I do something, I go for the most extreme way. Many people I knew were disbelieved. They were literally like, "So what the f**k do you eat now?"
The answer to that question? Salad.
So yeah, this is a diary to my new vegan life. The love story between my salad and I. My boss encourage me and actually challenged me to try the raw food diet for at least a month but I proposed it for 22 days, following Jay-Z and Beyonce's pattern. Nothing in particular, just to motivated me on something. You know, I always love Jay-Z so decided to do what he did for his 44th birthday last year. Hey..am a big fan, remember? And for me, going vegan was not just following my idol, but also because I was touched by the idea of how you can save so many animals life by doing such thing.
Your next question might be, "Why 22?"
Alright, this is Jay-Z's very own explanation. As explained on his  Life + Times blog before challenge no. 1 that "psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you've found the way." So there you go. When you survive your 21st day, you break your habit. And I, on my 35th day now, think I found my way to a vegan life just by now. I also found there are many benefits to becoming vegan including saving the lives of many animals, greater health and having a much lighter eco-footprint. It really is the lifestyle choice to make. Honestly.
I know, who would think those words all came from me, the used to be proud and loud meat eater. I was surprised myself, like seriously. But working for Divine Earth Cafe, an Organic Vegan Cuisine in Bali did the whole part in creating the new me. I just followed the pattern. As an animal lover, I now feel so great about myself knowing that I stopped hurting any innocent animal in the name of filling my stomach. I do find that disgusting how we use our privilege as a human being to hurt other creatures. How embarrassing.
Becoming a vegan is the right thing to do. If you see animals as something other than objects of our property, you then would totally understand what is trying to say here. So for those who care, why don't you guys start to eat like you really do care? And trust me, you will find yourself feeling so great about being a new you. You just do.

Every Day I'm Shufflin'!

Maybe many of you guys wonder what is shuffle dance? From the information I got around, Shuffle dance was originally a Malaysian tribal dance but the teenagers have adapt it as a street dance. The shuffle dance then mostly popular at Australia and it is known as "The Melbourne Shuffle".
The Melbourne Shuffle (also known as Rocking or simply The Shuffle) is a rave and club dance that originated in the late 1980s in the underground rave music scene in Melbourne, Australia. The basic movements in the dance are a fast heel-and-toe action with a style suitable for various types of electronic music. Some variants incorporate arm movements. People who dance the shuffle are often referred to as rockers, due in part to the popularity of shuffling to rock music in the early 1990s.
Shuffle dance today is popularly known as 'shuffling' has derived its significance from overseas DJs, party goers, visitors and the media trying to describe its phenomenon. Today, shuffle dance has evolved to become one of the most dance forms across the world. To make the dance easy, some dancers sprinkle talcum powder on the floor beneath their feet, making them glide more easily. It also helps in incorporating the 360 degree spins or jumps into their moves.
Shuffling originated from 'Stomping', which in turn originated from previous historical Celtic dances. Stomping originally incorporated tap and traditional ballet - style foot shuffling. The clog and sword dance can easily be matched to some earlier experimental rave and club dance moves that evolved into Stomping.
Dance is a beautiful medium of expression and Shuffle dance is gaining increasing popularity because of its 'easy to do' steps. There are various styles of dance present all over the world, which reflect the culture of the place they are born in. One such style is the shuffle dance, bearing a strong resemblance to the jazz style of the early years.  While the previous style had only heel and toe movements, variations were added to it at later stages. Amongst the numerous variations incorporated in the dance format were hand movements. The techno music, which was used earlier, was replaced with trance music and house music. However, the heel-and-toe action has remained the prime key to the dance form.
In the late '80s, the Melbourne Shuffle began to emerge as a distinct dance, incorporating more hand movement than its predecessor, Stomping. Break-beat and techno music was gradually replaced with the more hardcore forms of rave music, such as hard trance. When b-boys started attending Shuffling dance events, they brought in their own set of hip hop dance moves, for example, the running man and gliding. Ever since these hip hop influences became predominant, the Melbourne Shuffle has also been practiced outside of raves (a characteristic of hip hop dance culture). Where the Melbourne Shuffle was originally danced, the places were not considered to be named 'raves', but rather 'dance parties'.
After being quietly disappear from the scene in early to mid 2009, the dance was shown again in media such as YouTube and stuffs hence became a phenomenon within dancing people in the world. On June 21, 2011, the American electro-hop duo LMFAO released the album Sorry for Party Rocking which a single from that album, Party Rock Anthem (#1 on the US charts), makes multiple references to "shuffling" (The phrase, "Every day I'm shufflin" is heard two times in the song). The music video spoofs the UK movie 28 days later, with the dance being performed by a large group of people "infected" by the beat.

I Ain't Say She's A Gold Digger

For these past few days I was holding myself back tried not to say anything about the separation of Kris Humphreys and Kim Kardashian that buzzing off the news ever since she announced that she filed for divorce beginning of this week after 72 days together (yup, believe it or not but everybody was counting!). Suddenly their fairy tale wedding reported cost 20 million dollars doesn't sound so extravagant anymore. Many people accused them for having a hoax wedding but many of them sent their sympathy as well. And yeah, I can't help myself anymore. I mean, come on, she's one of the Kardashians, of course I have to say something. I love her!
Okay, first let me emphasize one thing to everyone here, how the heck does anyone could have a hoax wedding when it published in front of million viewers in the world without embarrassing themselves? Even the lowest intelligent person in the world won't do that, so yeah, for Kim, one of the most recognize people in the world and the highest self making money of the Kardashians, it was kind of stupid to commit such a mistake like that, wasn't it? Exactly. So, what went wrong with their marriage?
Okay, am not a psychiatrist but am an observer and my observation lead me to some conclusions. Had an ex boyfriend who verbally abused me before made me believe that it was only a matter of time until Kim realized how jerk Kris is. For example when Kim said that her business consideration forced her to keep her last name as Kardashian, he was like, "Baby, by the time we have kids and they went to school, no one will recognize you anymore. Four years ago you were only a girl selling dresses on the valley and now suddenly you're a princess?" Bible, honestly, by that moment I knew this won't last forever. My own experience told me that if a guy doesn't know how to appreciate what we were doing, he doesn't deserve us. I did try to justify the abuse before by kept on saying how I loved him, but it was only a matter of time until someone or something open our eyes about the situation. Because believe me, if he has a gut to say it out loud in front of camera, he won't have any problem doing it behind it. And it probably even worse.
Kim is a very successful person, whether she got her celebrity status by her talent or appearance, it doesn't matter. But the only thing that matter is, if he love her just like what he claimed himself, he supposed to respect her from every angle. Alright, I get it that he is a snarky type of person, but he was the one who proposed to her and asked her to marry him? Did he really think that he could marry someone then underestimated her? I mean, of course, as a guy it will crash his ego to have a wife who makes more money than he does hence refused to change her last name to his, but doesn't he know that if his ego was that big then he supposed to marry a college girl who would be more than happy to look up to him and went down his knee, for sure. But you can not marry someone who is larger than life, na-ah!
Remember in one of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians episodes when Kris mention about how Khloe changed her last name to Odom following her husband Lamar's and he wanted Kim to went down to him just like her sister? Well, let me underline a few things here for you Mr. Humphreys. First, Lamar treats Khloe like a princess while you doesn't even accept the fact that Kim is one. Second, Lamar plays for the Lakers while you were only play for the Nets. Third, Lamar bought Khloe a 4 million dollars mansion to live in while you were asking Kim to live in your unacceptable bachelor pad. Fourth, Khloe doesn't even make half of what Kim does so you go figure! And fifth, you can't be a bitch as well when you enter an estrogen Klan.
I know many of the haters out there were questioning many things including the expensive gifts they have received on their wedding day but one thing for sure that none of the guests that gave the gifts asked about that. I mean, they don't even care. Then why do people like John Legend and Andy Cohen who were not even invited to the wedding thought that they have a right to do so? How pathetic! Guys, you were just jealous so get a life, will you? I mean, come on, leave my girl and her estranged family alone! You don't even know what really was going on inside her marriage to this sharp tongue ungrateful guy whatsoever so say nothing! And to Kris Humphreys, one advice from me, if you really do love your wife and determine to keep your marriage, you have got to earn it. Actions speak louder than words, dude!

Pursuing A Perfection

In the result show of American Idol a couple of weeks ago, the Black Eyed Peas performed their new single, but no, am going to talk about that in this blog. Thing that caught my attention was Fergie, the only femme fatal of the group, who looked slightly different that night. I was trying so hard to figured out what was the difference? Not her clothes which was a phenomenal replica of the famous Marilyn Monroe white dress, not her hairstyle which was gorgeous as per usual, not her sky high stilettos, not even her super tone body. Nah. But it was her nose that actually gave me a shock. I mean, seriously girl? A nose job?Alright, for those who don't know yet, please do read my older blog 'I Love You Just The Way You Are' to find out that am not and was never against plastic surgery. For a right reason, I even think of doing it myself, ha! But, the thing that bother me a lot is when someone change his or her appearance for no reason. Confuse?Okay, let me clear everything up for you. When I was in my Uni, there was a girl, my classmate who, because of the accident that she had in the past, has a scar on her face. Not that it was my concern or anything, but I was always wondering why she didn't get it fix. I mean, for me, it was so annoying, specially because she's a girl and every time I speak with her, I couldn't help myself to not starring at her scar. Seriously, I felt so bad but I just couldn't help it. So in this case, I support plastic surgery for sure. Well, unless if you were a man then the story is different. There was an Italian guy who was a manager of a quite famous restaurant in my town who actually has just a fine look, you know..an Italian? But, he then became such a dream man for every girl and you guys want to know why? Because of that scar that he has on his face that makes him looks scary in a sexy way! In a different case, another friend of mine, an old friend which I had not seen for almost ten years came to visit a couple of years ago. I seriously shocked when I met her back then. She was a different girl! Her nose was different, her eyes were different, her cheekbones as well, her chin, everything was different! So instead of feeling happy seeing her all over again, I couldn't help myself starring at her face. I mean, I felt like talking to a stranger even though we talked about our old times but I didn't feel like I was talking to a friend. She looked completely different! And am sure that my attitude was bother her too. So in this case, I against it..totally!You guys were probably confused even more now as I said above that I even think of having the surgery myself, aren't you? Okay, here is the think, every girl has their own obsession and definition of beauty and or sexy as much as they want to be labeled as one. A dear friend of mine has this kind of obsession for big boobs hence her determination of having a boobs job. Another friend of mine already got one. But, as for me, I was never think of girls with big boobs are sexy but girls with big butts are. So yeah, I say Pamela Anderson is trashy and J-Lo is sexy. Then unlike my two friends above, not that I want it yet, but if I decided to have a surgery someday, it is almost possible a butt implant. My only problem with those were the reason of having one. My dear friend who was obsessed with boobs above, still hasn't got one because of her husband told her not to. When she talked to me about this, I was like , 'Do it, if it's going to make you happy, then do it!' Why did I encourage her like that? Because I think she has a right reason to do so. I mean, if she's not happy with her body then why don't fix it? In the name of pursuing a perfection, why the heck not? As long as she doesn't change her look then am okay with that. She's still going to look like her normally only with bigger boobs and for me that's cool. So yeah, are you guys ready for bigger butt me? Ha!

Privacy Violation

For these last few weeks, everyone in Facebook thingy was talking about how their privacy been violated by the site. Now here is the thing that for me was kind of funny. When we decided to join the site, I believe that no one ever force us to. We registered ourself voluntarily. And as far am concern, no one has any access to give this social network our information but us. We, the members, took a fully responsible on what kind of information that we want them to show on our profile, which pictures we want to share with whom, and how far do we want people to see our profile. So, when everyone started to blame the site for their privacy that 'they claimed' being violated, for me, this was a joke! And when they asked everyone else to join their group to leave Facebook on a certain date, I couldn't stop laughing. Seriously!
Now, let me tell you guys something. When you first decided to join this site, what was your intention? Me, to have fun. So yeah, of course, I was never took this thing that serious. It was just purely fun. Hence, I was never feel violated by anything this site done. Because I aware very much so that I was the one who is responsible with any of these. When I put a certain picture of me on the site, I knew totally that, that means I lost my right to sue anyone when the picture ended up in a wrong hand. So yeah, get real guys...don't blame the site, blame yourself! I mean, after posted those pictures of you with those skimpy bikinis and now you said that your privacy had been violated? Duh!

The WAGs Club

Do you guys familiar with the newest phenomenon in glitzy world? Do you still remember how Nicole Richie became an household name in the entertainment world as Paris Hilton sidekick, and how Paris Hilton became so famous just for being Paris Hilton, or those Kardasian sisters who were famous for being daughters of someone famous? Well, let me tell you guys, that was so last season! The new thing in the world of fame is the WAGs. For you who haven't got a chance to socialised lately, let me explain to you what the WAGs is stand for. WAGs is an acronym used particularly by the British tabloid press to describe the wives and girlfriends of high-profile football players, originally the England national football team.
So yeah, after the world fed up with Paris and Nicole and the Kardasian sisters, now people hunger of a different type of fame. As you guys know, sports people were already became world best selling names for years, only they were never cheesy or tabloid friendly. For some reasons, sport people were more classy as they are actually work hard for their fame, so no wonder if we gave them a bigger appreciation there. Then came along this new phenomenon which started by all of those footballers who hang out with some superstars and suddenly became an A-list in jetsetting way. As it is still clear in our imagination how David Beckham used to hang out with Tom Cruise, and how their wives now become an instant best friend? I believe in one magazine photo shoot, Victoria even styled the downtown girl Katie and turn her to be a style icon just like her. What a BFF things to do! Hah!
Here is the thing, sports people are considered as one of the highest paid people in the world. For years now, many sportsmen, doesn't matter how they look like, ended up dating all of those supermodels. Do you still remember when footballer Fabian Bartez, the French National Team ex-goalkeeper, used to go out with Linda Evangelista? That was years ago, and just recently, Giselle had a baby with Tom Brady? I mean, in the world of dating famous people, sportsmen are the new rock stars. Just look at Derek Jeter, A-Rod, Lewis Hamilton, and Christiano Ronaldo. Oh well, those all are the names and the looks in sports, so no wonder if all of those girls literally through themselves to them. Yeah, as I said, sportsmen are the new target for all of those '60 minutes of fame' fans. Just look at Tiger Woods and John Terry's cases. Then of course, it was no surprise for me when one time I read on one of those British papers' headline, the MU defender Rio Ferdinand said, "WAGs is a desease," Yeah!
Despite on what the content of the headline was, I can totally understand why he said that. I mean, they even have those kind of Reality Show called 'The WAGs' which show the audiences how the wives and the girlfriends of English footballers living their life. How sick could it be? Who are they? Why people even curious about them? So sickening. I don't know, maybe it was me who is jealous over their collection of Manolos and Louis, or maybe it was me who wished that I could drive that Mercedes instead of Coleen, despite on how Rooney looks like. Hey, even me could be a normal person sometime, so of course, I envy them!
So, my point is, if you are into an instant fame, if you are looking for a quick way to be at the front page of any tabloid, then you do know now how to reach your dream. Yup, just hang out with one of those sportsmen in general or footballers to be exact! Aha, and yeah, you can thank me later for these tips!

Is Myspace A New Booty Call?

In the movie ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ , there was a scene where Drew Barrymore’s character got a message from someone in this social network site called ‘myspace’ and she showed it to her gay colleagues and they were like, “Oh no, no-no…don’t you know that ‘myspace’ is a new booty call?” I was like, what? Well, here is the thing, I have a myspace account for almost two years now. Just like my other social network account, I was using this site to posted my blog as I really wanted for more people to read my writes therefore I will get more feedback so I can review and revise my writes. So yeah, that was kind of embarrassment to me when I found out about this fact. I mean, now that am thinking back, maybe the film was right. Oh, I didn’t say this just because of the film, though. The film was just reconfirmed my suspicion these whole time. I mean, here is my story. I joined myspace because of a friend of mine suggested me to. And because of, as I said above, my wish of reaching more readers, so yeah, I then signed up for the site.
The first two weeks I registered, I’ve got four marriage’s proposal from all over the world. I was like, huh? I mean, which part of my profile showing that am looking for a man? None, Zip, Nada! I bet none of the person proposed to me saw my profile as it was set for private, so…what the heck? At that time I was confused, hence I deactivated my account as it was kind of creep me out. Come on, how often did you get someone you don’t even know proposing to you? How desperate can you be to do such thing? One of the guy who proposed was an US soldier who served his country in Iraq, as he described himself on his message. Over a sympathy to him, I replied his message as at first he was only saying that he wanted to be friends. Did he? Nope. After I replied his first message then he was like talking nonsense and mention about building ‘OUR’ future together, yup…exactly, he said our! Then he also came out with this crazy idea of leaving his job in the army to come to my country so we can start our business together. Seriously, this was his second message to me, and he was already referred to me and him as a ‘we’. I don’t know, should I laughed at him or pity him?
So yeah, I deactivated my account for a while back then because of this stupidity. But then I was thinking, why bother? I mean, for me, to have more people reading my writes was a blessed. Then why would this silly joke stop it? Over that consideration, I reactivated my account again. Surprise-surprise! Yeah, as you guessed…here comes the proposals all over again. But, after seeing the movie, I was just having a laugh about that. I mean, I never reply to any no more, instead, am having fun by reading them with my friends and joke around about them. Am sorry guys, but it does feel funny to read all of your proposals. Hah!
So, is myspace a new booty call? Maybe. Maybe for some people who has those hectic schedules hence have no time to socialize, they can use this site for searching a date or whatever. But for me, I prefer meeting someone in person and follow the organic process of falling in love naturally. Hey, am a freak, remember?

Facebook Phenomenon

Here is the thing, if Facebook is a country then it will make it the fifth biggest nation in the world with more than 175 millions members and still counting. It has more population than Japan as a country. This site was actually started from a brilliant idea from a college student Mark Zuckerberg and his classmates at Harvard University Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, and Chris Hughes who were thought that it would be so much fun if you can get connected with anyone you want in the whole world. How fun it would be if you can exchange pictures and messages with your old mates that you haven’t seen for ages only with one click and only took like thirty second of your precious time. The good thing about this site is you, yourself, are the one who’s in control on your own profile. So yeah, am very sorry for anyone who’ve got done by this site over their own stupidity, that was not counted at all in what am going to said about this networking site. Seriously guys, this web is supposed to be a fun thing. Yeah, of course you can take it serious as some people do, but once again, you are the person who is in charge on your personal thing that you put in your profile and that was what I like about it.
In his interview with Oprah Winfrey on her show recently, Mark mention that every single day, almost half of a million people joining this so called social network and convinced her to open her own account. Come on guys, you have got to believe this thing if Oprah does, don’t you? After all, she’s Oprah…the Oprah Winfrey, hah! Even President Obama now has his own page on this web and used it properly during his campaigned to win the White House key. And believe it or not, the President is actually the person who has the most fans of them all, last counted was 175 thousands people. And maybe it was hard for some people to understand but this thing is addicted, badly.
Back to Mark Zuckerberg, this newest tech’s golden boy now became one of the youngest billionaire in the world after founded this addictive social networking site in 2004, according to Forbes. He left school later that year for Silicon Valley scored $500,000 investment from PayPal cofounder Peter Thiel. Venture firms soon swooned, among them Accel Partners and Greylock Partners. Hard to believe though that this young guy who was once a hacker who was dropped out from his Harvard University, just to became a CEO of one of the fastest growing online company in the world and he made it...Gosh, got to love those geeks now, don’t you? Hey, he is now said to make closed to $150 million annual sales, can you topped that? Expanding beyond being a college-only message system and photo album, now courting users to 55,000 different high school, business, and city networks. Last October, even Microsoft jumped in and bought 1.6% stake for $240 million, the deal that led many to suggest that the company is worth $15 billion, despite on how some analysts and even a few Facebook investor suggest that the company value is actually far lower, the boy is now worth closed to $1.5 billion, still according to Forbes.
Some people might questioning where did he get that idea from? Well, nobody knows actually where their brilliant idea is coming from. It can be from your daily routine that bored you so much that makes you kind of thinking about how could you change it and for some people who got lucky enough they then turn it to a money maker machine. Yup, as simple as that, and that was actually according to me, hah!

Facebook Bloopers

After joined the Facebook, a so called ‘friendship network’, I realized one thing…that some people who doesn’t know how to deal with this site often using it inappropriately. So yeah, many of them made some stupid mistakes and ended up in trouble. A friend of mine who had planning his boyfriend surprised birthday party last week made her status on Facebook telling everyone that she was doing it. And yeah, her boyfriend is also in the Facebook! I know…that what was I thought so too, how stupid could it be? How big that she thought the chance for her boyfriend not to check on her page just to find out about it? But that was nothing compare to a guy name Kevin something who lives in London, this one I got from splatter mail telling a story about the guy who skipped work one day, told his boss that he had a family emergency that forced him to flew to New York that day. But funny thing is, the next day his picture showed up in his Facebook with him wearing a costume in one of those Halloween party that night somewhere in town! What an idiot! Now it’s not just that he had to deal with his boss who fired him in public using his Facebook page, but he also had to deal with the humiliation about those tutu skirt and make-up that he had in the picture, hah!
But yeah, that was absolutely nothing at all compare to this story I am going to tell you. Yup, you guys are right if you think that am saving the best for last. This one is about a forty something years old woman name Tracy something who filled in her relationship status column on her Facebook said that she’s engaged. I don’t know for sure if this is a real thing or a fake thing, but, it was just proofed me more about how older people should be careful with this digital technology thing. I mean, they aren’t ready for the digital information overload that is our lives. They have difficulty distinguishing between what is public and what is private when it comes to the Internet. So the information they throw out there often gets filtered incorrectly and they unknowingly make their private life too public. They’re unaware how to adjust privacy settings and gain control of what information is displayed and who gets privilege to that info. To them, nothing is black and white. It’s all gray and fuzzy. And that is where the problem lies! If you don’t know the ins and outs of Facebook and or Twitter, and their other web friends, DO NOT USE THEM! When it comes to social networking sites, what you don't know can hurt you. So yeah, say no more but just read this page above and please tell me how should I reacted to this? LOL?
If she hasn't been laid in months, something tells me this Michael she's conversing with (and pounding her like a lion) isn’t her fiancé. Dirty girl! Am so sorry Tracy, but am with Jeff in this case…yeah, I would probably said ’nice’ too in my comment, only for me, it would be ’niiiiiiiiiiiiice’, hah! And yeah, I would probably play dumb as well by not immediately answer her question and telling her how to delete those wall posting. Definitely, I would let it there for…yeah, at least one night, just to see others’ reaction on it. Maybe that’s mean, but something like this is too priceless not to bask in for a while. However, the moral of the story here is a simple one. If you don’t know how to properly/fully use something, don’t use it. Now if you still want to use something, but don’t know how to properly/fully use it, LEARN. Or if you're Tracy, you'll eventually learn, the hard way though.
Call me a snob, but I liked it better when Facebook was only open to those who had a college or university e-mail address. Ah yes, those were the good old days when your Mom couldn’t friend you and stalk you on Facebook! The good old days when I wasn’t subjected to oldies men sending me messages on Facebook thinking this was the new Match.com or eHarmony. It’s Facebook. It’s a social networking site, NOT a dating site! There is nothing on my Facebook page that says I’m looking for a guy who are old enough to be my father or that I’m searching for a man whose kids I have more in common with than him. I’m sorry and I don’t mean to be a b*tch, but I’m just not interested. Now when it comes to Tracy, I'm pity her for not having a knowledge about the website but still insisted to use it.

Blackberry Mania

What is the second biggest thing after Facebook phenomenon? The answer is, of course, Blackberry! I can not believe how addicted this thing is for everybody. I went to a lunch with my best friend yesterday and as soon as we sat on the restaurant, both of us got our Blackberry out and ended up not talking to each other at all. Even when the food came, still, we were drown our head down in to our Blackberries. What a good friends we are! Hah!
My dear best friend didn’t have a Blackberry until last month. And let me tell you a funny story about how did she ended up with this cute little thing. We were in our shops that time, it was like one and a half months ago, when one of our other girlfriend came while she was sitting down right in front of her Macbook doing what we called the first biggest phenomenon at the moment, yup...Facebook. Seeing her doing that, my other girlfriend was like, OMG…you still using laptop? Where is your Blackberry?
Of course, my dear friend was a little bit annoyed because of that. Not to mention since I got mine three months ago, I was like constantly telling her how good and handling this thing was. She was probably had enough of it then decided to switch her mobile which she just bought a few months ago to a Blackberry. What an influence, eh? I hope her husband, who bought her the last mobile she got for Christmas, didn’t hate me for this. But yeah, I was so happy that she was finally became one of the Autistic Club members. Did I tell you that how we call people who owns Blackberry? Yeah, because as soon as you got one, your world is finish and you became one of those people who doesn’t care about anything around you, yeah, just like an autistic person. But what can I say? This thing is so awesome!
A couple days ago, my hairstylist in Jakarta finally got one too after we tried to pursuit him for quite sometime. You know what he said when we asked why he decided to get one eventually? He said he was tired and fed up with people asking him for his Blackberry’s PIN number while he was actually haven’t got any. And he was fed up with people looked at him as he was an alien from a different planet whenever he used his basic mobile phone to make a call or browsed the internet. Hah!
