Everybody Loves Shalome

As everyone has probably knew already, I have this some kind of obsession towards dogs, especially puppies. Living in a house without dog was never an option. So devastated. Then yeah, ever since I lost my dog, Macallan, over a cruelty of some irresponsible people, I dedicated myself to a mission of dog searching. First, of course, I went to pet shops. But unfortunately, seemed like pet shops were not one of my things. Either none of the pups there liked me, or I found myself had no connection with them whatsoever.
Desperate in the need, I then decided to visit Bali Animal Welfare, an animal shelter for cats, dogs, and monkeys that had been abandoned on the street. And there, where I met this cute little black Balinese puppy that changed my perspective in many ways. I mean, my whole life, I was never interested on female pet. Honestly, dealing with myself as a girl was already give me headache all the time, then why would I want to have another one? Hah!
But that was until I saw Shalome. Yup, I named her Shalome and no, I don't know why, but that name came into my head right after I first looked into her eyes. She looked so sweet and shy. A little bit scared, of course, but in a lovely way. Within a second, I fell in love. So yeah, she was my baby ever since.
Okay, okay...I aware that Cesar, the dog whisperer, said to not humanize your animal but in real life it was so hard to not to. I mean, when you're in love with someone so bad, animal or not, I bet you would desperately want to show it to anyone in any way. I know that this was my bad, but when it comes to animal, especially dogs, my obsession was like beyond. I don't know why, but I felt so deeply touched with them rather than with human being. My ex-boyfriend knew about this so well and he used to said that, 'Animals get more loves than I do,' and I used to answer, 'Absolutely,' to that sentence. Hey, maybe that was why we broke up at the end, hah!
But yeah, for the past ten days, my life was never about me, myself, and I anymore. Shalome was always there, right between me and myself. Life was like so full of bliss and I can't even ask for anything else no more. Oh well, except for a new shop. And those House of Harlow's sunglasses. Or that P. Diddy's Unforgivable scents. Okay, among all those material thingy, still, Shalome was like everything to me at the moment. Wake up every morning to her furry body was like forever. I mean, it was like beyond. So unbelievably blessed. And this little pup of mine was stealing everyone's attention no matter we go. Every time I took her to a restaurant for breakfast, or lunch, or dinner, people were like queuing for her cuteness. The loves were all around her and am a super proud momma. Oh my goodness, I need to find a man like super quick! This obsession was beyond tolerable.

God Bless The Puppies

It's now been more than a year since I lost my dogs Macallan and Coco over a cruelty of some irresponsible people (read my blog : Inglorious Basterds). Talking about it still break my heart even though am pretty sure that they all are in pet heaven now playing with each other, but still, it hurts to just go back to that situation once again. For more than a year now I stayed low on dogs department as I wasn't ready to replaced Macallan (my late min-pin) just yet. Until one Monday morning, the secretary in my office came to work with this 'oh so cute' little white puppy. Two words : EN-VY!! Yeah, I was jealous like no others when I saw her with that little thing. That day, without even thinking, I asked her to take me to the owner of the puppy as she said that there were still another three puppies ready for adoption because the owner didn't really care about them.So yeah, to cut the story short, now I got a puppy! And I named him Brutus over the rival of Julius Cesar. Also because he has this black thingy around his face that kind of look like beards, so yeah..the name was also came from that baddie character in Popeye the Sailorman. Don't know why, but when it comes to name my pets, I tend to pick a baddie name, I just love it. Sounds strong and full of characters, don't you think so? So now I've got a puppy, exactly what I've been wished for. As everyone probably knew already, I have this special thing inside me when it comes to animals. Dogs, cats, horses, and even squirrels. Not so much for cold blood animals though..you know, like anything lives in the water? Or snake, crocodile, alligator, and their entire family. Then yesterday afternoon when I went shopping for Nyepi day, as usual, I tagged Brutus along with me. Yeah, FYI, I was always have him with me wherever I go as I was too scare to leave him home alone. Hey, what if over his naivety as a puppy, he accidentally get into the pool and drown? Can't take that risk so I'd prefer and feel better if I have him in my eyes all the time. And there at the supermarket, every single person adored him. I mean, who wouldn't? Unless if you're a cold bloody person who won't be touched by those sweet big brown eyes, then yeah.. Oh, did I tell you about my three weeks old baby already became a model? Yeah, two days ago when the studio in my magazine's office rented by some people who's doing a photo shoot for some fashion brand, the French designer saw and fell for Brutus then asked if he could use him for the commercial shoot. I was like, sure-sure..no problem! I mean, what's wrong with that? Besides, Brutus is a great puppy and adorable so everyone would fell for him alright. One of those people was a girl I met at the supermarket, probably my age, whose husband works for Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA). And when she found out that I just picked up Brutus from unwanted owner, she was like offering me if I wanted more dogs as BAWA actually has hundreds of street dogs ready for adoption. Since I don't want another pet as I don't do share so I'd prefer to have one dog for me and the dog will have one me for himself as well. Hey, what can I say..am a one man's girl..ha! But, I do interested in doing some volunteering job for them, as I said above, I do have this special thingy for animals so anything that includes them was always touched me. So yeah, we'll see..am planning to go down to Ubud where the association headquarters is on Monday and see what can I do to help them. Oh, just by thinking about it already gave me an excitement! Two words : OB-SESSED! Ha!
^_^

Welcoming my new baby Brutus..many people said that he won a lottery 'coz I picked him up but actually it was me who won that lottery by finding him.. ♥

Two Is Better Than One (Welcoming Cheech And Chong)

Many things happened in my life that am grateful for, and one of those is when one morning at the beginning of this year I found these two kittens right in front of my garage. Looked like someone dumped them there to starved. I was still mourning of the lost of my Min-Pin the month before and one of the kittens has a broken tail, just like Macallan, my late dog. Over a pity of those little things, I fed them with milk. After finished drank all of the milk I gave them, they were like all over me and followed me home. So there you go, it’ not like I adopted them at that point, but more like they picked me as their new mom. The thing is, am more like a dog person rather than cats. But how could someone say ‘No’ to those blue eyes who looked at you with their innocent faces? Well, I couldn’t.
Anyway, since that moment, my life changed completely. I knew from the beginning that these two little buggars are different than Adam. But first, let me tell you a funny story about their name. I thought they were he and she as I predicted it from their size, so I named them Hansel and Gretel. For some reason, those names sound great in my ears. But when last month I had my vet came to the house to gave them their first vaccination, she told me that my kittens were actually both males. So yeah, Hansel and Gretel suddenly didn’t sound that great anymore and I had to came up with new names. Then I remember that a friend who has two rottweilers named his dogs Cheech and Chong at the beginning but then change the names as he gave up one of his dogs to someone else. Yeah, of course he had to change the name because just like Hansel and Gretel, the names Cheech and Chong have to come together. Knowing that he did that already and my man was also love those names then I named my kittens with those names at the end. Gosh, hope he didn’t find out about this and thought that am a copycat. But dude, I really seriously truly love the names!
Back to my thought above, I have a feeling that these two little things were different with my nice and lovely Adam. Maybe because of they both are males, so they were kind of hyperactive compared to their sister. And Cheech, oh my…he’s a whiner alright. I supposed he was younger than his twin. Chong was more like a leader in between them, and more independent as an individual. He was actually smaller than Cheech but he was a trouble maker and doesn’t really like being picked up and or cuddled. Chong is actually a loner while Cheech is a spoil brat. Then a few weeks ago, I came home to found Chong with a big lump on his back. Of course, as a concern mother, I was worried. But, there he was, jump up all over the place didn’t seem to be bother at all. After a week, finally his lump healed and I felt so relieved with his condition, even though if it didn’t effected him at all but for me it was still broke my heart seeing him with those ugly lump on his back that made him looked like a camel. And my thought at that point was he must had some kind of traumatic experience with whatever happened to him that gave him that lump. But, I was wrong. Totally wrong. A few days ago I came home from work and found him limping with this big swollen leg! What a naughty little buggar! God knows what got in to him now. I was given up worrying him at this level, no point whatsoever. He is going to do whatever he wants to do anyway, no one could stop him. He even started climbing the 2 meters walls surrounding my house already and went to the next door neighbors. One year Adam with me and three years with Frosty, they were always play on the roof but never broke anything. But just last week these two little things went up to the roof followed Adam, and tear up my mosquito’s net alright. Not to mention my speakers cover that they scratched to part, and the vase that they used for play hide and seek, and many more.
No, don’t get me wrong, am not complaining about my kittens here. Because even though they did what they have done, I don’t even have any hatred toward them at all. In fact, they were actually my heroes. Because of them I learned how to be more patient in life. How to care for others as I was never did before. Because of that I love them so much, even though they are cats and not dogs as I was always wanted.

Inglorious Bastards

Oh no, don’t get me wrong…I am a very proud Indonesian. I was born and grew up in this beautiful place. But what am going to write now is about the fact of our beloved country that I can not just ignored like it was nothing wrong. Here is the thing, for the past eight and a half years, my sweet little dog had played on the street of my neighborhood once in a while and nothing was wrong with that. I felt so secure as it was a housing complex which was secluded and supposed to be very safe. Beside, my dog was a very famous in the neighborhood as every time I went for a walk with him, more people said ‘hello’ to him rather than to me, that how cute and lovable my dog was. So yeah, don’t blame me if I never put my dog on leash as he was only a small dog who was never a threat to anyone. And for those eight and a half years period, I was never got any complained from anyone whatsoever for my dog behaviors. So, what went wrong?
I know for the past two years, rabies was started became an issue in Bali as I read on the big billboard down the traffic lights of the road just before the airport turning. So yeah, as a dog owner I aware of that but it was never became a big thing to me as my dog was fully vaccinated. Then why, when I was doing my shopping trip in Singapore last week, someone just cold bloodedly murdered my lovely little baby with those poisons that normally used to kill street dogs who were rabies suspected? And no, this wasn’t happened far away from my house but right in front of it as my maid found my dog’s body laid underneath mango tree inside of our villa compound’s area with his mouth full of foams. Looked like he was trying to run back to the house to get help but it was too late. My poor little buddy died without me by his side, leaving me with such a huge regret to deal with. I was so devastating, I was like hysterical when I got the phone called from my maid telling me what happened. Seriously guys, how do you deal with such as situation? This thing was my best buddy for a very long time, a loyal one. He followed me everywhere I go, even slept with me at night, wait for me on my bathroom door while am having a shower, yeah…I don’t ever see the day where he wasn’t around me for these past eight and a half years. Ever! So go figure how it makes me feel?
Back to my point, I was like having so many questions in my head for the authority to answer. Like, who is responsible for a tragedy like this? Seriously, how could someone, in any excuse no matter what, mistaken my dog with any kind of rabies or dangerous dog? Just because he was unleashed? He was playing in front of his own house, for God sake! And he was wearing a collar with his name and my phone number tagged on it. Don’t you think that you guys, whoever you are, went too far on this rabies matter? I still see so many street dogs else where, but why started on a secure and secluded area where rabies was never been an issue yet? Or, if you think it was the right thing to do, don’t you think that at least people who lives in the area has a right to know that you were going to mass murder any dogs on the street? So that they are aware? My vet tried to talked to the authority once, and guess what answer that she got? They were like, oh yeah…of course you were objected, you’ve been paid by westerner! Come on, people…what kind of answer was that? So uneducated! This has got nothing to do with westerner whatsoever!
That night, after finished arranging my dog’s cremation at the clinic and went home, I found a cat laid on street in front of my house because of the same cause, poison. He was accompanied by other cat who was sat down there meow for a help, but it was too late. What a sad scene to watch, if I were you. What would you call that? Collateral damage? Why don’t you cleaned up the street from whatever you used to killed those innocent animals afterwards? And yeah, don’t we have another non barbaric way to deal with such as situation? I am totally aware how dangerous rabies is, but it doesn’t give us a right to kill every dogs that we’ve seen hang out on the street. Not all of street dogs are dangerous and have rabies, we can see the different…but of course, that was if we care enough to hire someone competent to do the job, not just any idiot who willing to do anything for a penny. I was just adopted a street dog, I named her Coco, who went missing at the same day with the day they murdered my dog. My guts telling me that the same thing was happened to her as they were playing outside together on that time. But my maid looked all over the place around my neighborhood and found nothing. She was like disappear, just like that. Some people told me that someone probably took her for food. Yeah, like eating her. I was like, what the…? How cruel are we as a human being to do such thing? And we were not even in any emergency situation, like if we were stranded in the middle of nowhere and have no other choice. NO, we’re not. So, what is wrong with you people? If this was true, then yeah…I was ashamed to be Indonesian! Get civilized you guys! If we were angry when other country said that we were under developed, then why are you act like one? Maybe you think you are a winner by killing all of those innocent animals, but what kind of winning was that if you got it ingloriously?
^_^

To my lovely baby, RIP...you will always be my number one as I always said and promised you...

To the 'Inglorious Bastards' who killed my babies, I pity you for done such cruelty like that, for having a heart to kill innocent pets, mine in particular!

Please Forgive Me, I Know Not What I Do..(An Open Letter To My Baby Frosty…RIP Darling, I ♥ U So Much)

Dear Frosty,
I still remember the first time I saw you when your birth mother left you to looked for some food in my old house’s roof. Your meow was the thing that caught my attention as you were never shut up even in the middle of the night, you were constantly screaming. At that point, I knew that you must be hungry and you won’t be quite until someone feed you. So yeah, as you were disturbed my sleep that night, I went up to checked on you and there you are with your so tiny little body, crawled over to my reach, and yeah, I fell in love with you right away. Guess there is a love at first sight after all.
My Dear Frosty,
I know that you were probably thought that am not a really cat person and I admitted that am more like a dog person rather than a cat person. Let me tell you why because this happened way before you were born. More than five years ago, a Scottish friend name Drew gave me a kitten and I named him Daniel. He was a wild type of cat who never enjoy being at home. He was also kind of a leader type of thing as you won’t be surprise seeing him walked around the neighborhood with his chin up and almost ten other cats following him around. So yeah, you can call him a king, the king that is. As a wild cat, he was never at home unless for food and doing his business in his litter tray. What a cute thing he was, spent all day outside but always came home for number one and number two, hah! To make it short, when he was a few months old, I was going for two weeks holiday to Australia and had nobody at home to take care of him, so yeah, I took him to a kennel so I was sure that he would be taking care by trustworthy people. So much for my faith in that matter as one of the guys in the kennel caused me losing him as he left the door opened when Daniel was not even in the cage yet. So yeah, as you guess, he was panicked then took off. I spent two hours looking around there with my eyes soaking wet from my never ending tears but he was gone. Since that, I swore that I won’t have cat as a pet anymore, until that night when I saw you on my roof with your grey eyes that melted my heart like you were never imagine. But you knew for sure that you were nothing like Daniel. You were a house cat who loves sleeping on a sit tee in my bedroom right in front of the telly. Every time you went outside you were always ended up home with some cuts from fighting with street cat. You were almost lose one of your legs once after missing for two days. So yeah, I was never expected more from you like I was with Daniel, but when last year you were diagnosed with Feline Urinary Syndrome which until now still has no cure whatsoever, I was devastated. But all I can do was just pray for you and tried to get you the best treatment that you can get. You do know exactly about this, but still, this FUS thing kept on coming back and seeing you squeezing yourself whenever peeing, was made me feel sorry for yourself. Big time. But as much as I felt sorry for you, still, when the vet mentioned about putting you down, I took it bad time and that was why I was always denied the fact that you were not comfortable with your own condition. I was never wanted to make that euthanasia decision for you, ever.
My dearest Frosty,
You might have been thinking that I wasn’t care about you as I didn’t take you to the vet right away when I realized something not right with you. And yeah, I do regretted it all, as if I took you to the clinic earlier then the vet might be able to saved you because your body might not had that shocked that you had. Instead, I chose to spent time with my friends and my dear baby, am so sorry for that. If I only knew that it was so serious, if I only knew… But a dear friend of mine said that everything happens for a reason, so yeah, I hope whatever your reason was, it was a good one. To be honest with you, for some reasons, I am very sure that you were in a better place now, right next to God. And I thank you for waited for me before you were gone forever. I thank you for giving me time to say how sorry I was for everything. I was so happy that you were die in my arms and our last conversation was something special, just between you and me. I will remember that very moment like forever. And you know what, I was always wondering why did you bring Adam home last time and I guess all of my questions were well answered now. I now realized that you were preparing yourself to leave so that you gave us Adam as your replacement so that my heart won’t brake badly. What a smart thinking cat you were, my baby… So rest in peace, darling. We will always remember you as you were always be in our heart no matter what. Thank you for the best three and a half years you spent with us. And yeah, thank you for not making me pulled that plug for you...

Welcoming Adam

These last two days had been a worst day in my life since I was mourned for Adam Lambert’s loss in American Idol thing. I know, what a freak I am you must think of that, but honestly, this is the first time where am really into a TV show such as American Idol. When Ryan called Kris as the winner yesterday night, I was like literally in tears. I couldn’t take it. Despite on how well Adam took his loss was, despite on how a nice guy Kris is, despite on how them both are in fact good friends, I couldn’t take it. Yeah, maybe some of you don’t know that Adam and Kris are roommates in Idol castle so that they became a very good friends. In fact, on homecoming tour, if you guys noticed, Kris had black nail polish on one of his thump nail while Adam took off one of his. It seemed like they want to show us that even if they were apart but at least they carried each other’s part with them. Ah…how sweet was that?
So yeah, I was kind of feeling down with all of these then forgot to blog about a new member in my family. It was two days ago, the same date with American Idol final round, my man heard a kitten meowing behind a big wall next to my house. But because of the wall is too high so he couldn’t do anything. The last thing he saw, according to my man, my cat Frosty was up there on the top of the wall then when missing for almost fifteen minutes, then out of nowhere, there was this small ugly looking black and tan kitten at the back of my television set where my cat Frosty normally hiding. Of course, our conclusions was that he went across the wall and picked up that kitten from whatever was that behind that wall and brought him home. What a nice one! And as a tribute to Adam Lambert, I decided to named him Adam. Well, to be honest, I am not sure if he is a he or a she since it’s too difficult for me to see it at this early age. He was like probably only a month old, so tiny and the fur was not even fully growth yet. So yeah, the idea was if he’s in fact is a he then he’s an Adam, but if he turned up to be a she then he is a Kris, hah!
Back to Adam, as the kitten that is, this ugly sod really made himself comfortable at his first day. He was jumped up all over the place as soon as he got some food in his tummy. What an active animal he is! The funny thing is, my dog actually the one who was okay with this little gremlin compares to my cat. Despite on how my cat was actually who brought Adam home, but he was kind of jealous of him now. It was probably because of he used to be the youngest in the family and always got more attention, he was kind of feeling neglected now as all of the attentions go to Adam. Even my dog’s attention now was always to Adam. This ugly little thing even sleep on my chest every night as he was probably still looking for his mother's heartbeat. And it kills my cat seeing that so he was always gave Adam a snarl everytime they met. So yeah, considering this jealous factor, whenever I leave home, I was like put my dog and Adam in the house and my cat outside by the seatee. And I know for sure that this makes him even more up set. Did I mention that the first night Adam was home, my cat refused to come into the house and chose to sleep outside which was unusual for him as he was normally a house cat that never like sleeping outside? Guess animals are humans at some point.
Then yeah, my days now become busier with Macallan, my min-pin, Frosty the cat, Adam the kitten, Tommy the turtle, Momo, my neighbor’s Pomeranian who is always play in my house with my min-pin, MC the Balinese dog who claimed herself as my dog’s girlfriend, and Sebi the squirrel who comes to my house every now and then and I don’t even know where he comes from. Probably from the bushes next to the big wall I was talking earlier. And yeah, am a proud momma. I would probably build a zoo next.

Where Are The Good People Go?

Woke up this morning, just like my normal Monday morning, I got my Jakarta Post’s business section just to check on my shares in the stock market. I normally don’t read other news apart from the market outlook, but today there was a headline about how the economic disaster affected the way of people’s life in Indonesia and there was a middle age single lady names Sri Mulyani (and no, I don’t think it’s the Minister that we’re talking about here) said that the impact of economic crisis was so bad for her because now that all of the branded stuffs increased the price like almost double. She also mention that she was normally change her branded hand bags every three months but now because of economic crisis, she still use the same hand bag and purse that she got four months ago, what a shamed! I feel sorry for you, lady! No wonder that you are still single, hah! While people are suffer and hunger on the street and there she goes, complaining about her branded hand bag and purse! Pathetic!
Arrived at work this morning, I received a video from my dear friend Lia through my Super Wall on Facebook which show me a shocking news about fur factory in China. Well, actually I knew that there will be some unpleasant images will shown, but I watched it anyway. An yeah, I was shocked, amazed, disgusted, and feel pity for those animal and all the people who wear them just for fashion without thinking about how cruel they are when they skinned those animals. It was the most brutal thing to do and of course, I was down in tears and forward the video to everyone right away and join PETA group at the same time. Seriously guys, I can not tolerate these animal haters at all. Where are your compassions? Animal are also God’s creature just like us. If we can not do it to the Black people, the Jewish, or any other minorities, then don’t you think that we can not do it to animals also? They are innocence and need love too, just like you and me.
So yeah, today was a big turning back moment for me. I swear not to shop like crazy and not to touch anything fur started from now on. I love my dog and cat and can not bear if something bad like those images in the video happened to them. God, no! And believe me, there are so many people need our help out there, rather than wasting our money for some branded bags or purses which are probably made from one of those animal that they slaughtered earlier, euw!

The Toughest Decision To Make

On Wednesday last week, I have got to went back to Veterinary Clinic for my cat, Frosty. His FUS problem was getting even worse. I found him last week with his pupil as small as a stripe line after refused to eat anything for almost three days. I knew straight away there was something wrong with him so I called his Vet.
Today, I went to visit him at the clinic. He was a little bit better and his pupil back to normal. I felt sorry for him seeing all those I.V and catheter tugged in to his skinny body. And it was really broke my heart when he stood up and tried to walk toward me and my man as he probably thought that we came to picked him up and took him home. Oh…I’m sorry baby, it was not the time yet.
After finished cheer him up a little bit, we went to talked with the Vet and the news that we got made me even more miserable. The Vet asked me and my man to started thinking about the worse scenario. Since this is the sixth times he went back to the clinic so obviously this situation is stressful for him as for us. And because of the caused of the disease is still unsure yet so there is no certain treatment can be done apart from a specific diet that he has to do. But, this was not worked on him either as we tried before. So, the Vet asked us to started thinking about putting him down because we have to think about his uncomfortable situation with his bladder that always makes him dripping all over the place and how difficult for him just to do his pee but could not make it. The Vet said, maybe we have to pull him out of this misery and let him go. Or, the other thing that we can do is to do the operation to cut off his penis and make him became a female cat, but that does not make him stop dripping everywhere either and of course it’s going to make him even more miserable. A transsexual operation? I was like, no way, Jose! Not my baby!
As we went back home, my man tried to convinced me that that was probably the best thing to do considering how hard for us seeing him suffered like today. Maybe we have to let him go to a better place where he can get the cure for his condition. But, how could I? He is my baby! And isn’t it true that they said that cat has nine lives? And if this is his sixth times, he still got three other lives, isn’t he? And honestly, how could you make such a decision like that? Gosh, this is going to be the toughest decision to make for me! Help…anyone?

Spoiled To Death

How do you show your pets that you love them? If your answer is by spoiling them, then ‘Welcome To The Club‘. I have two pets at home, one Miniature Pinscher dog and one Himalayan cat. They both are my babies and they rule the house. They got almost everything that they wanted, everything that almost killed them.
My dog is a snobby small dog who only want to eat good stuffs, such as imported milk and meats, even imported chocolate bar. I’ll tell you a funny story about my dog and M&M’s, since that is the only brand that he took. One day I changed his chocolate treats with a local brand which exactly has similar look. Did he bought that? Nope, he just sniffed them and left. My man and I even made a joke of it. If we want to know whether a certain food is good or not, we just give some to our dog and see his reaction. If he like it, then it is a good one.
Last year, for the first time I saw my dog did not want to eat his favorite food. Even if he tried to eat them but after that he was puking them back out. This situation went for three days before I took him to the Vet Clinic. Guess what? Nothing wrong with him apart from he needs to do a diet! Yup, his pancreas got a problem because of he is too fat. I actually knew that he is indeed too fat, because I read in the book that for miniature pinscher a normal body weight is 4-6 kg. And my dog’s was 8 kg. The Vet even warned me that if I want my dog to be healthy and live longer, then I have to stop spoiling him. Because what happened was, I spoiled him to death.
My cat’s case was not much different. He is a picky-picky cat and only want to eat the best cat food. He certainly knows what he wants and what he doesn’t. He even picked up his own food from the rack. Since last year, for some reasons, my cat refused to eat wet food and I just followed what he wanted. For me, as long as he eats a lot, that means that he is happy. He is indeed happy and he is also fat. For two years old cat, 7 kg body weight is too much. Just a day before new year’s eve, I noticed that my cat had a problem doing his pee. Sometimes he spent almost ten minutes in his litter box but nothing happened. So, I took him to his Vet, and guess what? Yup, he had a Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) which was caused by improper diet. And most of the cat that has this problem was an obesity cat. Surprised-surprised…
When I was at the Vet’s Clinic, I was talked to a British woman who has a same cat as mine. And she said that was all my fault that my cat had a life threatening disease, because I spoiled him to death. As for her, the cat does not rule her but she rules him. The cat eats whatever she gives him and he never had any bad mood just because he does not like the food that she gives him. I was like, how did you do that? Well, she said, first of all your pets have to know who the master is. And it is you, not them! But she also said that was a little bit too late for me now, as the damages are already there.
So, here I am woke up this morning just to found that my cat having the same problem again, but this time more serious. The Vet had to put a Catheter to help him peeing. And this is something that can caused death. The Vet even asked me to be ready for the worst probability. I was literally in tears all morning. Now my cat is still not wake up from his surgery yet. I am very-very worry. God, if you are there, please help my Frosty with his condition and bring him back to me. Please…
